TUC: ten resolutions to make workplaces greener in 2008

With UK workplaces generating more carbon dioxide emissions than homes, the TUC has published a top ten list of green New Year’s resolutions to help businesses tackle climate change at work.

A typical workplace produces ten times more carbon dioxide emissions than those produced by the homes and personal lives of its workforce, and while energy consumption at home has been reduced by 5% in the last year, it continues to rise in UK workplaces.
