A man with a facial disfigurement who was ordered out of a nightclub because of his looks has been awarded £2,500 in compensation.
Raymond Crowe, 47, was told to leave Thompson’s Garage nightclub in Belfast after staff allegedly told him that he didn’t fit their ‘criteria’.
Crowe took his case to the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland, and was awarded an out-of-court settlement and an apology.
