The Boots Company Plc, based in Nottingham, has pleaded guilty at Nottingham Magistrates Court to one charge of causing trade effluent to enter controlled waters.
The charge was brought by the Environment Agency under Section 85(3) of the Water Resources Act 1991. Boots Company Plc was fined £10,000.00 and ordered to pay costs of £2948.79.
