DRC: NHS failing Disability Equality Duty

    Institutional discrimination is still rife within the NHS, says the Disability Rights Commission (DRC) today (27 September).

    The DRC has identified eight Strategic Health Authorities (SHAs) that are failing to comply with the Disability Equality Duty, which came into force in December 2006.
