Recent developments affecting young workers

    Two recent developments mean that employers of young workers will need to review their working practices. Firstly, after taking advantage of the time-limited opt outs offered by the Young Workers Directive the UK is now to implement that Directive. Secondly, employers of young workers should be aware of greater responsibilities under the Health and Safety Executive's recent update of their health and safety guidance for employers with young workers.
