Gym manager claims she was sacked for 'whistleblowing'

A gym manager claims she was unfairly dismissed for raising concerns to her managers about the appointment of a solicitor previously convicted for supplying drugs.

Elaine Williamson, who was the gym’s front of house manager, was dismissed from Greens Health and Fitness Centre in Giffnock in July. She has since brought a case to Employment Tribunal unde legislation designed to protect whistleblowers.
